The Photographic Project
For this project, I wanted to take pictures of places that have been forgotten by the world. I wanted to capture the beauty in what was once filled with people but since then it has been forgotten by those who once called them home. Majority of these places I just stumbled upon when I would go on adventures in my dad’s car. I almost felt drawn to these places it was almost as if they wanted me to find them to make sure they were remembered. These photographs were taken in and around Chatham.
About the Photographer:
Luca J. Paterna is 20 years old and was born in Brooklyn, New York on April 10, 2001. Luca has been around cameras most of his life thanks to his father who is also a photographer. Photography has always been an interest of his. Luca shoots on a Nikon D3500 with a 20mm prime lens as well as a 35mm film Nikkomat.
